About

Like many other cocktails invented in the early 1900’s, the Brandy Alexander is first seen in the 1916 book by Hugo Ensslin’s, Recipes for Mixed Drinks. When making the Brandy Alexander it is important to be careful about going too overboard on the sweet component, but feel free to mess around with the ingredient percentages to suit your preference.
