Amaretto Sour

The Amaretto Sour cocktail is a delicious sweet 'n' sour mix. Adding 1-3 dashes of Angostura bitters helps balance the drink and adds more flavour. But not everyone appreciates the bitters so here's a more popular recipe.
How to Make an Amaretto Sour Cocktail - Crafty Bartending

Ingredients:

Serve in a Rocks glass

  • 2 oz of high quality amaretto
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 an egg white

Garnish: 1 lemon wedge & 1 cherry

How to Make

  1. Add all the ingredients to your shaker
  2. Dry shake first (shake without ice) for 10-15 seconds to activate the egg white
  3. Add ice to your shaker and shake again for 10-15 seconds
  4. Strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass
  5. Add the garnishes
